I know each individual varies, but I want to make sure I am moving enough.  I am 4 days post op and today I took 3 15 minute walks and one 1/2 hour walk.  Is that adaquate?  The first 2 days I fell asleep as soon as I got home.  Today, I napped after the 3rd walk, and stayed up after the 1/2 hour walk (which was around 6pm).  It's now a bit after 10 pm, and I hope to go to bed by 11pm.

I'm not concerned with distance right now, more with stamina.  That seems correct, too, but I'm not sure.

I have another question about vitamins. I have been taking the gummies instead of the fusion because I can tolerate them better. Are they as effective? Im taking 2 multi vitamins and 2 calcium gummies a day. Also 5 1ooomg biotins throughout the day and they are the fast dissolve. I take 4 fusions a day and no other additional calcium. Just had 2 year lab work done and all levels were fine.

My paper says you still need an addl 500 mg of calcium.. I take three fusion and one calceteach day. You will be fine the pain is from the gas as you probably discussed in your pre op meeting with the staff. The only thing that moves thengas is walking walking and walking...... The surgical pain is relieved by the pain meds you will be given...... I walked about 25 laps the firstndaynafter my surgery and by the next daynthemshouldar pain had dissapatied....... You are in great hands. I am having the sleeve done this Monday and I'm getting nervous - mostly because I think it's going to hurt.   I go in at 6:30am and my surgery is scheduled for 8:30am.  Anybody else out there getting surgery on Monday?

Have a great time Nadia.  My son went to college in Burlington, I love that city, and the waterfront. Wiill you be visiting there?  You can charter a sail boat, along w/ a captain for a nice spin on the lake.  We took a picnic along and had a wonderful time.
