Hi, ( version 7.9 )

When linking to a page in a web wiz forum, does anyone know of a way to have that link point to a specific post on that page?

I suspect the term is "ancor" in html, but I don't know if it's possible to do this in the web wiz forum.

Thank you,

Steve

you'd have to code an anchor in each post and add a link to that anchor within the post that people could copy.

You might want to look at how the url for the edit post button is set up -
PID=Post #
PN = Page # in thread
TPN - Total Pages in thread

TID = Thread ID (Thread number), like this thread is number 13171, then it will be forum_posts.asp?TID=13171 and if you want to link to another page (for example page number 3) then you add &PN=3 (forum_posts.asp?TID=13171&PN=3)

Edit: Ooops, I think I misread our question, but maybe it was useful anyway. and I wrote TIP instead of TID, don't know how I made that though
