Piper, The weight loss has NOT stopped.  The honeymoon phase can be 9 months to 14 months in some people.  However, a little extra exercise will jolt the weight loss.  Do not fret over this.  Thescale may not be showing, but during those times, you are shrinking sizes/inches off your body.

I am 7 months post op and I would stall for 3 weeks and then jump on the scale and I would be down 5 to 10 lbs in one week and then the process would start again, and as you can see by my ticker the weight comes off.  Don't get discouraged, we are all different and we lose the weight in our own way and time. Be patient, follow the rules and it will happen.

I agree don't be discouraged. I went through so many stalls that sometimes would last a couple of months. But the weight does come off - just keep following the rules. Stay focused on the goal - living a healthier life than the one you had prior to surgery.
Hope ya have a nice day,
Jamie

Piper glad you posted this.  I am in similar situation.  Almost four months and weight has been melting off until 2 or so weeks ago when it just stopped.  Been getting a little scared myself.  Have lost 1/2 the weight I need so far and fearing the worst.

The honeymoon phase can last up to 18 months depending on your starting BMI.  Also, EVERYONE goes through weight loss stalls.  Your body goes through many changes.  It holds onto calories because it thinks it is being starved so it becomes a much more efficient machine.  If you are following ALL the rules, you will lose weight.  The rules include exercise and so often I hear that people are following the rules until I mention this forbidden word.  Exercise is part of the rule book, like the 30/60 minute rule.....forever.
